Yesterday, I made another trip to see my new, low-cost student accommodation. My gentleman friend wanted to do a proper recce and see what could go where. The long and the short of it is that he took up the floor, took down the bedroom partition, and heaved over 150kg of (empty) oxygen cylinders out of the way.
The resultant space along the keel will now house a fresh water tank, pump, and hot water cylinder. The hot water will be fed through by the back-boiler attached to the little stove that will eventually sit above.
I’ve decided to leave the partition down, and create a platform for a bed that will go
right across the pointy end.
